Telescopecast has been making telescopes and mounts for more than 20 years for the local market, our main goal is assisting the amateur astronomer in telescope construction at a minimal cost without sacrificing quality.

The advantage in our product line is a quality machined assembly at a reasonable cost.

Telescopecast telescopes is a growing, family-owned company specialized in custom mounting and telescopes, which means we can work together to design and suit any of your special needs. In the photos section you can find some examples of our work.

Our market was mainly local (Chile), with some special projects for international market, nevertheless we would like to expand our work for the whole astronomical community.

Personally the owner has been making and mounting telescopes for more than 25 year including the mirrors.

Every mounting or telescope component is done with special care to meet the entire custom requirements.

Mounting Types

Dobsonian

We can make this kind of mounting completely metallic with or without driver or if you want you can adapt your own system.

Equatorial

We can make German equatorial mounting.

Fork

Fork mount for a Meade telescopes.

Material

Normally we are using steel, casting Aluminum, Aluminum allow, brass and carbon fiber.

Drivers

In our telescopes we are using commercial systems, but, we are ready to adapt your drive system in our mechanic.

If you want to install direct drive in your system we can work together to adapt your motors in our custom made mounting

Telescopes

We have experience with telescope made with serrurier structure or tubes with different diameters, our last project was a 1.13 mt azimutal telescope.
